Flowing with the Seasons: The Earth Element
Come celebrate Late Summer with an afternoon on the farm!
Late Summer is the harvest season, the peak of abundance. It is a time to experience nature’s bounty and soak up the warm golden glow of the sun. Late Summer marks the transition from yang to yin, inviting us to slow down and receive nourishment in preparation for Fall and Winter. Late Summer is associated with the Earth Element, an energy of grounding, rooting, gratitude, nurturance, and fullness.
Seasonal transition can sometimes bring upheaval, stirring up emotions and shaking up our bodies. The more we can tune into the rhythms of the natural world and flow with the seasons, the more we can harness their energy to cultivate balance and vitality in body, mind, and spirit.
In this class we will develop tools to cultivate our natural vitality and embrace the energy of Late Summer, including meditation, Five Element wisdom, herbal knowledge, and experiential exercises. We will conclude with a celebratory feast in honor of Mother Earth and the Autumnal Equinox.
Participants will leave with a seasonal herbal tea blend made from Pachamama herbs. This promises to be a day of nourishment, community, and fun — join us!
