About Oliver & Allie
At the beginning of 2012, Oliver Weber and Allie Dodge adopted Pachamama Farm as their new home. As stewards of this beautiful property with sweeping views of the fertile gulch and the distant Front Range, Oliver and Allie will continue to grow organic food for their community. Pachamama has been organically farmed since the late ’90s.
Oliver Weber has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Buffalo, NY and a Masters of Engineering Degree in Ecological Agriculture from the University of Kassel in Germany. While his studies of economics involved agricultural and environmental topics, it was his appreciation for organic food and spending time in his grandparent’s garden and traditional rural lifestyle in Germany, which brought him in touch with his deeper passion for farming. During his four year masters program, Oliver was able to study and work in various agricultural systems, with a more specific focus on sustainable regional development of rural areas. Oliver’s master’s studies were completed with a thesis researching Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) organizational models. He has spent the last five years working full time in all areas of production and distribution at Abbondanza Organic Seeds and Produce in Boulder, CO.
Oliver also enjoys various art forms including dance, music, and food preparation, amidst the celebration of the diversity of life with friends old and new. He draws much of his strength and inspiration from the appreciation of the Earth’s few remaining wilderness areas and farms.
Allie Dodge has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Masters Degree in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville, CO. She has had a private acupuncture practice in Boulder, CO since 2008, and she is a faculty member and serves as Faculty Representative to the Board at ITEA. Allie is also certified in Mind-Body Medicine and has been leading and facilitating Mind-Body Skills Groups since 2011.
Outside of her acupuncture practice and teaching engagements, Allie enjoys cooking, taking dance classes, practicing yoga and meditation, being in nature, learning about plants and herbs, traveling, photography, and surrounding herself with the youthful, playful, and carefree nature of children and animals.
